Mike has spent almost his entire career at Darling Consulting Group, joining the firm in 1983. He works with a broad range of clients providing advisory services in asset liability management, strategic planning, budgeting, and capital management. Mike has spoken at trade associations and written for publications on balance sheet management, selecting asset liability management solutions, and preparing for regulatory exams.

Mike installed and supported modeling systems for more than 300 financial institutions. He also directed DCG’s financial analytics staff, overseeing the preparation of balance sheet models, reports, and analyses for banks, thrifts, and credit unions.

Mike is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. He enjoys giving back to the community and is a member of the Salem NH school board, a long-time board member of a non-profit community-owned nursing home, and is a founding member of multiple boards serving the needs of the homeless and youths at risk.

He resides in Salem, NH, and his lake house in the White Mountains of NH with his wife of 38 years, Jill. Mike and Jill enjoy spending winter days on the ski slopes and summer days on their boat. They are the proud parents of three grown children and two beautiful grandchildren.
