DCG consultants combine sophisticated risk/return analysis with practical business strategies to help community banks and other financial institutions improve their ALM performance – in the form of improved earnings and profits.

Successful ALM requires a comprehensive approach that looks at both sides of a bank’s balance sheet – assets (primarily loans and investments) and liabilities (deposits and other funding sources).

DCG consultants work closely with an institution’s management team to improve the decision-making capabilities of the bank’s Asset Liability Committee (ALCO). ALCOs typically meet on a quarterly basis to review a bank’s financial performance and regulatory compliance. However, under DCG’s supervision, ALCO meetings take a more pro-active and strategic approach.
